My husband decided that he wanted to talk to every design build firm in santa monica before making a choice. After meeting with every design build firm in santa monica he chose the architect in santa monica that met our taste and timeline the best. He then chose the best general contractor in santa monica for the job. My husband's father didn't recommend choosing an architect in santa monica and a general contractor in santa monica that weren't from the same design build firm in santa monica, but that's exactly what he did.
