The design build firm in Santa Monica had to lay off a contractor and a builder. Hopefully the design build firm in Santa Monica will be able to rehire the contractor and builder once the business picks back up. The design build firm in Santa Monica did not want to have to let anyone go but they had no other choice but to let the contractor and build go. It may not be long but for the time being it was the best choice.
