We had another Client contact us recently, right after they closed on the purchase of an office building in Northern Colorado and requested new architectural designs to meet their business practice needs. As an experienced Northern Colorado commercial architect, BSA Inc. Design & Construction was ready to bring their vision to life.
This two story free-standing building had enough space for two different types of businesses, but we advised our Client that a Change Of Use permit and supporting architectural data would be required. They were good with it, as leasing out one floor to renters actually paid for their monthly mortgage. The remainder of the space was utilized by our Client for conducting their business operations, virtually rent-free.
As part of the tenant improvement plans we produced, we also provided a code analysis sheet with specific data that the building would need to conform to. Additionally, we provided a life safety plan with supporting calculations, exiting path of travel and schedules meeting specific codes.
Also some minor structural work was needed by our engineering consultant, so that some of the spaces could expand into an open floor plan design. Above this second floor area, we designed three large pyramid shaped double glazed tempered skylights, that filter down soft sunlight.
Handicap parking, ramps, bathrooms and doors were also designed into the plans meeting ADA codes. Our interior design finish materials complemented the aesthetics and colors of their company logo designs.
Interior lighting of course included energy conscious designs, from our electrical engineering consultant we coordinated with.
Let us know what type of light commercial project you have in mind, by simply notifying us via our Inquiry form on our website and we’ll get back with you within (24) hours. Trust our Northern Colorado commercial architect team to deliver exceptional results.
Best Always!
